Time for me.
Since February 2009, I have had more time on my hands... for several reasons. but I didn't realize how I needed my own personal time, time and realm in order to think and process the day's activities. I quietly sit in my massage room several times a week listening to Joanne Shenandoah , my Native American serenity music.(http://music.ask.com/c/artist/Joanne-Shenandoah/41515?q=Joanne+Shenandoah&o=13992&l=dis&qsrc=1585)
Her music speaks worlds to me. I cant understand the words, and yet some how I do. The emotion and feeling behind her every words speak to me about forgiving, being quiet, sitting still and listening to the earth around me.
I never knew how much I needed to have peace and quiet - an escape from the world for just an hour will do.
I find myself thinking about life in general. How lucky I am to be me. How thankful I am for going the directions I have gone, to follow what nature intended. I am truly blessed for so many things and yet I don't give enough credit or I have taken advantage of my many blessings and gifts from Mother Nature.
I encourage all of you if you can, take a few minutes to lay, sit, stand, drive, however - where ever you can to take a few minutes to actually be truly grateful for all that you have in life. So many times we don't say thank you to the people who have given us so much, including our animals in our life.
So go ahead, Be at peace, be thankful, be you.
