Sacral Torsion

I have been having low back pain for sometime now. I have tried various avenues for pain relief. Finally I had to suck it up and go get a massage for myself. Through MRI, Physical therapy, massage, and Chiropractor work we figured it out to be SACRAL TORSION.
Sacral Torsion is something that I have not experienced nor known about before. Its severe low back pain,including but not limited to buttock pain and possibly sciatic nerve pain. From what I have gathered this is something that has been brewing for sometime. The connective tissue within the sacral iliac joint has become inflammed pushing on the sciatic nerve. The buttock area is trying to protect my back leading to tight piriformis. I have looked up some information but haven't found too much. If you have any more information you'd like to share with me. I would love it.
On a positive note, I'm glad that I am going through this so I can relate with those clients that are also going through this. I like the fact that I am learning along the way. This is a very painful experience but its making me realize how thankful I am for life in general. I cant wait to be pain free once again!
