Rainy Days

I have my own meteorologist.... MY BACK. I can always tell when its going to rain... like today.
I'm stiff, sore, achy, the pain down the right side of the leg is increased as well. Which makes me think its arthritis instead of the other dx that may be going on. As we age, the discs and their protective cartilage degenerate, or breakdown. Water that is normally in the discs dries out, making the cartilage thinner and weaker. When that happens, the discs no longer allow fluid movement which then causes stiffness and pain in the lower back.

Its going to be one of those day where i just want to sit and do nothing all day. Lay on the couch watching television. but in the back of my mind i know i should  be doing something else: like working out, reading, blogging or playing world of war craft, maybe mowing the lawn, or doing the dishes, etc.
there's a lot I could be doing. instead, I am going to take a muscle relaxer and see if that pain doesn't ease up at all today.
